NEW YORK (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – Five games in the Nba night: four straight wins and one victory that was as painful as it was important. It’s the one of Memphis, which imposes itself in front of its audience on Houston (120-119) at the end of a match played point by point and that faced respectively the third and second of the Western Conference. Deprived of Ja Morant, the Grizzlies leaned even more on the collective and led six in double figures with Desmond Bane standing out with a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds. There are 22 points from Luke Kennard, 21 from Jaren Jackson Jr, 11 from Jaylen Wells, and from the bench also come 15 from Santi Aldama and 13 from Brandon Clarke. Not to be outdone by the Rockets, they too bring six in double figures with Green’s 25 points, Brooks’ 22, Thompson’s 21, Van Vleet’s 13, plus there are double-doubles of 11 points and 10 rebounds from Adams and, off the bench, 13 points and 12 rebounds from Tari Eason. Memphis wins, but Houston remains ahead.In the East, Cleveland’s march continues as it secures win number 39 (out of 48) by sweeping Atlanta 137-115. In front of their own fans the Cavs played on velvet with Darius Garland making 26, Donovan Mitchell 24 and from the bench came Ty Jerome’s 20, while Evan Mobley finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Too much for the Hawks, who responded with Zaccharie Risacher’s 30 points, DèAndre Hunter’s 25 off the bench and Trae Young’s 15-point, 10-assist double-double.The Lakers also won while having fun and enjoying themselves as they rolled past Washington with an eloquent 134-96, in which LeBron James put up 24 points and 11 assists and had time to enjoy 12 minutes (with 5 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists) from his son Bronny.
