From February 22, every Saturday on Rai Italia and RaiPlay: the second season of Linea Azzurri

The second season of Linea Azzurri, conceived by Angelo Maietta, will air every Saturday on Rai Italia and RaiPlay starting February 22. Directed and produced by Salerno-born filmmaker Caro Fumo, the show brings his cinematic expertise to a television format that, in six 45-minute episodes, explores six Italian territories that have inspired the achievements of renowned athletes: Terryana D’Onofrio (karate), Giovanni De Gennaro (canoe slalom), Silvana Stanco (shooting), Ludovico Viberti (swimming), Angela Andreoli (artistic gymnastics), and Amanda Embriaco (paracanoe). These are stories of sacrifice, passion, and resilience that showcase the best of Italian sports and offer a compelling portrait of human strength and determination.

Directed by Fumo, the production features a special appearance by Giovanni Malagò, president of CONI (the Italian National Olympic Committee), who has renewed his moral endorsement of the show. This season also introduces a significant new development: the endorsement of the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security. A strong emphasis is placed on sustainability in sports, aligning with the CONI-MASE protocol signed on July 11, 2024.

Betting on sports and its protagonists—athletes, the true ambassadors of healthy and positive values—is a winning strategy to inspire and raise awareness in society.
