Meloni concluded her message with a forward-looking commitment to consolidating these achievements in the coming years

On the second anniversary of her government, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni shared her reflections in a social media video, expressing satisfaction with her administration’s accomplishments while acknowledging the work still ahead. “On October 22, 2022, exactly two years ago, I was sworn in as Prime Minister. Today, I look back and see that I’ve never held back. I’m proud of the results and milestones we’ve achieved for Italy,” Meloni said.

Meloni highlighted her government’s efforts over the past two years, emphasizing their focus on fulfilling the promises made during the 2022 election campaign. “We have worked tirelessly to deliver on our program,” she stated, mentioning record job creation, economic growth, and significant strides in securing permanent employment, especially for women. Meloni also praised the government’s response to the energy crisis and geopolitical challenges, ensuring Italy’s industrial sector remained protected.

The Prime Minister pointed to the reforms initiated by her administration, many of which had been awaited for decades. She also noted the government’s focus on financial stability and efforts to safeguard household purchasing power, especially for families with children and vulnerable groups. “We have allocated an unprecedented level of resources to the healthcare sector, more than any government before us,” Meloni added.

Meloni concluded her message with a forward-looking commitment to consolidating these achievements in the coming years. She reassured the public that her government would continue working with determination to honor the trust placed in them, aiming to build “a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Italy for all.”
