ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Last year Mercedes- AMG has attracted great attention with the Concept AMG GT Track Sport. AMG enthusiasts from all over the world wondered what was the link between this spectacular concept and a further evolution of the GT family. Today the answer comes: the concept car represents the technological platform for two high performance models. In fact, it is the basis for the new Mercedes-AMG GT3 and the future Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, thus expanding the current GT family with two new models. With this project, the Affalterbach brand once again reaffirms its ambition to define new standards, both in Customer Racing and on the road. The approved variant for road traffic of the concept car acts as a model for the future GT3. The name “Track Sport” has been deliberately chosen, as a bridge between the performance without compromises on the track of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 and the extreme performances, but confirmed on the road, which always characterize the models Black Series. Since October 2025, the prototype – characterized by a camouflage livery with yellow-green and red accents – has been subjected to intense dynamic tests on test tracks and circuits. In addition to the internal circuit of Immendingen, the tests included Bilster Berg, Portimào and Monteblanco. With the start of the Nùrburgring Nordschleife test phase, a new phase of development is now underway. The chromatic definition is now clear: red will represent Mercedes-AMG in the future GT3 as a central element of Mercedes-AMG Motorsport livery, while the yellow-green will identify the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series.
