ROME (ITALPRESS) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the start of the truce on the northern front with Lebanon. Speaking on live television at the end of the security cabinet meeting that approved the truce proposal submitted by the United States, Netanyahu spoke of what he called successes in the ongoing conflict in what he called seven fronts from Gaza through Yemen. He then announced the return of northern Israelis to their homes and promised a strong response if Hezbollah violated the truce.
