ROME (ITALPRESS) – The new SIMEU national president is Alessandro Riccardi, who was appointed at the first meeting of the Scientific Society’s newly elected National Executive Board, the result of elections held last November. Dr. Riccardi, a graduate of Genoa, has been working in Pietra Ligure since Feb. 1 this year and replaces in the position Dr. Fabio De Iaco, outgoing president who will join the Bureau of the next three-year term as past president by right.Of the National Bureau, the other management and representative positions were also assigned: Vice President of the society is Dr. Mario Guarino (Naples), Secretary Dr. Mirko Di Capua (Bergamo), TreasurerGiovanni Noto (Ragusa) Nursing Area Coordinator Antonella Cocorocchio (Rome), while the elected Resident Coordinator is Alessandra Iorfida of the Humanitas University School of Emergency Medicine in Milan.Also serving on the National Board as Councilors are Andrea Fabbri, Roberto Cosentini, Sossio Serra, Simone Vanni, Domenico Michele Spampinato, Anna Maria Brambilla, Paolo Pinna Parpaglia, Daniela Pierluigi, Alessio Gamboni, Gabriele Savioli, Nazerian Peiman and Emiliano Fanicchia and Simoni Pompili for the nursing area.The Board is completed with the Board of Auditors composed of Fabio Causin, Giuseppina Fera and Marco Valobra and the Board of Arbitrators Gian Alfonso Cibinel, Stefano Paglia and Michele Zagra. “The shared commitment of the new working group is to further strengthen the scientific role of SIMEU in all aspects of emergency emergency care.
