ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The future is no longer a distant perspective, but a dimension that already guides choices in many fields: from energy to defense, from security to education. This will be the guiding thread of the 6th Summer University on Intelligence, scheduled from 3 to 5 September at the Library “Michele Caligiuri” of Soveria Mannelli (Catanzaro).
Promoted by the Italian Society of Intelligence with the patronage of University of Calabria, Rubbettino, Formiche, Fondazione Italia Domani and Lions International, the initiative will bring together institutions, academic world and enterprises in three days of study dedicated to the main strategic transformations of our time. The work will open on Thursday 3 September with the inauguration entrusted to the president SOCINT, Mario Caligiuri, and to Florindo Rubbettino, publisher and vice president of the Fondazione Italia Domani.
At 16.30 the first meeting, “Intelligence and magistratura: the necessary collaboration”, will compare Vittorio Rizzi, director of DIS, Lorenzo Guerini, president of COPASIR, and Giuseppe Amato, Attorney General at the Court of Appeal of Rome, with the coordination of Flavia Giacobbe, director of Formiche. Friday, September 4th, the day opens at 10 am with “The Passion of the Future”, round table that brings together Roberto Paura of the Institut for the Future, Giuseppe Rao, already to the Presidency of the Council, and Valerio De Luca, director of SPES Academy, coordinated by Alessandro Ferrara, director of GNOSIS from 2024 to 2026. At 17 space at “Energy and intelligence”, with the interventions of Francesca Mariotti, ENEA president, Alfio Rapisarda, ENI Security Manager, and Valerio Giardina, ENEL Security Manager.
Saturday, September 5, the appointment of the 10, “Artificial intelligence and national interest”, will bring together Gianluigi Greco, coordinator of the Committee on the IA of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Gian Luca Foresti of the University of Udine and Michele Colajanni of the University of Bologna, for a comparison dedicated to the relationship between technological innovation and national interest. At 17 the closing panel, “Intelligence and Defense”, will bring together Barbara Carfagna, journalist RAI, Stefano Mannino, president of CASD, and Giuseppe Cossiga, president of AIAD.
