UniCredit launches new welfare project dedicated to mothers

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – UniCredit joins the public call for proposals “ReBirth” dedicated to mothers. The program, aimed at companies that want to introduce new welfare projects, supports mothers returning to work after pregnancy and promotes work-life balance. The latter, a note explains, is a key objective in UniCredit’s strategy and is in line with the caring plan dedicated to employees. The new welfare services will be introduced in 2025. New mothers will be provided with a one-time voucher of up to 1,000 euros, which they can use to reimburse babysitting and daycare expenses; they will also be able to access a new online channel, through which they can benefit from services such as psychological support, obstetrical and pedagogical counseling, as well as career counseling, which will make their return to corporate life easier. This initiative enriches UniCredit’s corporate welfare offering, Welfare Reconnect, aimed at protecting purchasing power, neutralizing gender inequality, improving employees’ work-life balance and individual, organizational and social well-being.”The Welfare Reconnect program-articulated in the dimensions of purchasing power, education and well-being-demonstrates how UniCredit continues to invest in the Caring of people, with solutions that also generate positive impacts on family members (with parenting and caregiving initiatives) and communities, with a view to an integrated welfare system,” the note concludes. “This commitment is achieved thanks to constant dialogue with the Welfare Commission and the Trade Unions and has seen important external recognition, such as MF Innovation Award, HRC Award and Global Welfare Score 2024.
