Meloni “Italy must be a place where young people arrive, not the one from which they leave”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “Many young people still leave their homes, their families, their nation: at 20 years you want to measure yourself with something new, but in a globalized world if you do not speak at least English you risk having very limited possibilities. This is why we have created the most impressive program of language training and mobility abroad ever realized: with it we give 150 thousand Italian students the opportunity to go for a period in a European nation to study, train and learn a foreign language”. This was said by the President of the Council and leader of FdI, Giorgia Meloni, in Fenix, the national Youth Day, the youth movement of his party, which is held in Rome at the pond of Eur.

“We made a record investment to allow almost 270 thousand young people to experience the civil service experience in Italy and abroad, using their experience to access 15% of public competitions – continues Meloni, – The problem arises when leaving is not a free choice, but the only one possible to see recognized its value: to retain our talents or bring them back here serve higher wages, more adequate opportunities, more efficient services. In these years we have tried to work on all these fronts at national level, especially in the regions of the south that pay more the price of youth depopulation: something moves in the labour market, youth unemployment is at the historical minimum, stable workers grow, falls the precarious, five years after graduation nine out of ten boys find a job; all this is not enough, because we want to make Italy the place where you get or go not that from”.
