ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The expenditure of Argentine visitors in Italy is growing and the interest in cultural tourism and travel related to its origins is strengthened. This is what emerges from the data published by the Enit Study Office on the occasion of the FIT event in Buenos Aires. In 2025 there were 6 million overnight stays, air arrivals from Argentina were 381 thousand, equal to 21% of passengers from the entire South American continent.
To train is cultural tourism. Expenditure reached 536 million euros, marking an increase of +3.4% compared to the previous year. To support the flow also contributes the tourism of the roots, which binds the discovery of Italy to the family history of millions of Italian-Argentine. In the center of the mission in Buenos Aires also the project promoted by the Ministry of Tourism to accompany the descendants of Italians to the discovery of the places of origin of their families.
